Fisher Associates are transport specialists whose roots lie in the ports, shipping and various marine industries.

We are Port consultants with worldwide experience in over 50 ports, covering all aspects of port strategy and development, such as business plans and masterplans etc.

Shipping is of course the reason why ports exist, and Fisher Associates have experience of anlysis in many trades and sectors of the international shipping community.

In recent years, we have worked increasingly in related sectors such as:

• Inland waterways: developing sustainable distribution patterns from key seaports.
• Aiports: particularly for Island nations where air and sea transportation of passengers are often different sides of the same coin.
• Logistics: in the maritime context this would include zones of all forms and supply chain integration strategy. Cargo is king!
